sports.espn.go.com/nhl/columns/story?id=1936047Nash and Thornton are going back to the basics: But they remain upbeat! They've found stimulating ways to pass the time on those long bus trips! (I wish I could afford an iPod) Rick's having a tough time with the road trips: Stay tuned for more timeless exploits of our beloved NHLers as they rough it through the lockout in scenic Europe.

Very amusing CKA. You have to feel sorry for younger players like Nash in this position. He hasnt been in the league long enough to be one of the problems. The rest deserve these kind of playing condition ;D Ill be doing one on Todd Bertuzzi's court adventures next month

He's younger than I am yet he already has more money than I'll ever make. As a Rocket Richard recipient, he's bound to be one of the problems come time for his contract renewal. Even if his plus/minus is revolting.

Well as a hockey player.....As someone who makes more money than us, screw him ;D Plus/minus is the most overrated, ill-used stat in the NHL. On the opposite side of the spectrum you had Marek Malik with the best plus/minus in the league last year, and he's maybe one of the softest defensemen in the league.

His team is also shit. What really bugs me is when people point out Steve Yzermans 155 point season he was a minus He also achieved that on a very poor Redwings team. One player cant do everything on the ice.
