The entire "Black Label Society" CD is awesome. I'm not sure what the song names are, but "Stoned and Drunk" is really good.

I think I know what your name is on the Flames forum ;D Also, try "Only for the Weak, Jotun, Insipid 2000, Behind Space '99, and Colony", to name a few. This band is sweet. My personal favorite. And I have Crooked Smile to thank. If you like Metal, give these a try, you'll thank us both later. My top 10 In Flames songs. 1. Trigger (I have to give this song major props because it's what got me into the band.) 2. Ordinary Story (Piano mmm) 3. Only For The Weak 4. Cloud Connected 5. Behind Space '99 6. The Jester's Dance (One of my favourite instrumentals) 7. Bullet Ride 8. Zombie Inc. 9. The Quiet Place 10. Metaphor (Found out this song from you. I think it was in your sig or something) I really wanna see these guys live. I would have went when they were here in May, but it wasn't an all-ages show.

In Flames, for me, begins with the song "Behind Space '99" The opening solo, about 1:00 minute in, blows me away. My favorites by In Flames are... 1. Behind Space '99 2. Jotun (The riff through the whole song is abso-fucking-lutely amazing) 3. Clayman 4. Colony 5. Insipid 2000 6. Metaphor ( In know, I know, it sounds kind of country-ish with the "Fiddle" in it, but it is actually a heart breaking song if you really listen.) 7. Only for the Weak 8. Man Made God (Best instrumental I've ever heard, except perhaps Anesthesia[pulling teeth] by Metallica) 9. Zombie Inc. (Love it when the song slows right down) 10. Cloud Connected I would also try to fit Trigger in there, as well as the song "In Flames" and Graveland. I love in Flames. Could you guess? Hey, HW, too bad about the 18+ show that they put on. How the hell old are you anyway? Shit, I feel like an old man more and more every day...

I'm 18, 19 in a couple months. So by next year, I'll finally be able to see my favourite bands. Back in May my two favourite bands (Avenged Sevenfold and In Flames) played within 3 days of each other and both shows were not all ages. My favourite part about Behind Space is at the 2:30 mark when that freaky riff comes in. It sounds like something from a graveyard. And with In Flames, I've probably only heard about 60% of their songs so there are still tons of songs I haven't discovered. Have you heard their cover of Land of Confusion. It's awesome.

Nope, haven't heard the cover yet, but I'll be sure to keep my eyes open. I'll tell you what though, I just heard a new one by them (Off the Soundtrack to your escape album) It's called "Borders and Shading" and did I ever unload in my pants when I heard it. One of my new favorites (and I have many) Give it a shot if you have the chance.

I love Borders and Shading! It's awesome. Reroute and Soundtrack were my first two IF albums I bought so I've heard all the songs from those albums. I'm working on listening to all their older stuff. The latest song I've been really liking is Dead Eternity.

I tryed quite a few of the In Flames songs and the only one I really like was Cloud Connected. The guitar is pretty sweet.

Have you tried any of the songs HW and I have mentioned? Try some of those. If you have and still don't really like them, well, then you suck.

Agreed with Hanson! You suck if you don't like them!
If you want an epic/medieval type of song, try Moonshield by In Flames. I love their accoustic guitar work.
I heard Jotun for the first time a couple nights ago and that song is freakin' sweet.

I heard Jotun for the first time a couple nights ago and that song is freakin' sweet. You're damn skippy it's sweet. I believe it's on the Whoracle album, not to bad an offering if you ask me. I just aquired Soundtrack to Your Escape, and it's got me drooling. But yes, Jotun. What can I say. It was the first song I heard by them, and it got me hooked. Love the riff. Now, I understand they are Swedish, and not the easiest to understand sometimes, so may I suggest a website called "DarkLyrics". Give it a shot if you haven't already. P.S. Sorry Scrundel, the jury is in...
