there is a local band here in Richmond called Pyne, they are great! my dad is friends with the drummer....i have their first CD but it is burned and i dont know the name of the songs

In Flames! These guys are a swedish metal band. They are so good! Get the songs "Trigger" and "Cloud Connected".

Hell yeah for Avenged Sevenfold. I'm in love with them. Can't wait for a new album.

Atreyu. I consider them Avenged Sevenfold junior. "Lip Gloss and Black", "Ain't Love Grand", "Right Side of the Bed" are some of there best songs.

Arch Enemy. Another Swedish metal band. Their lead singer is a chick and she has one of the most evil voices I've ever heard. "We Will Rise" is a great song.

My favourite Thrice songs are "A Living Dance Upon Dead Minds", "Identity Crisis", "T & C", "All That's Left".

And that's all I can think of right now. And at the moment I'm downloading that Static Lullaby song.

I know this song is old, and you've probably heard it, but "Pulmonary Archery" (or "The End") by Alexisonfire is really good.

I'm gonna try the songs you listed, but not right now because its about time I go eat a grilled cheese.

I'm liking that Static Lullaby song. I like music that has the combination of screaming and melodic vocals.

Another good metal song is The Soulforged by Blind Guardian. It's an epic type of a song and a classic.

Lamb of God is a good band, i cant really understand what they are saying, kinda like the guy on Avenged Sevenfold....but a good song of theirs is Black Label, if you have the chance, download it

Also, try "Only for the Weak, Jotun, Insipid 2000, Behind Space '99, and Colony", to name a few. This band is sweet. My personal favorite. And I have Crooked Smile to thank. If you like Metal, give these a try, you'll thank us both later.
