I like it but only for the guy who does those news reports. J S sucks balls, the person who does those reports carries the show.

Stephen Colbert is the funniest, but you may also be thinking of Ed Helms (from Bruce Almighty) Samantha Bee or Rob Cordrey.
Lewis Black also comes on sometimes...
But I think you're thinking of Stephen Colbert, who is my idol (second to Stewart)

I dislike it because it's a shitty show. MCM, you do know that this is a Comedy Central show, right? It's not a news program. It's better at news than Fox News is. You're a southerner, therefore a republican. Northerers like it, southerners hate it. Any coincidence? |

Jon Stewart has said it himself: the Daily Show is not a news program. He reads a headline, makes a half-assed attempt at humor, and brings out a movie or sports star every night....that isn't news. Therefore, Fox News is better at news than the Daily Show. Unfortunately for you, I watch a variety of news programs. To think I only watch Fox News is a miscalculation on your behalf. Also, I'm a moderate, with a couple toes stepping towards the right. I believe in pro-choice in abortion and I'm not against gay marriage. The Daily Show wasn't funny when Craig Kilborn was host, and it hasn't improved with Jon Stewart. I see the Daily Show as a 30-minute version of the "Weekend Update" on SNL, and both are really shitty. Politics have nothing to do with how a show sucks. |
