I'm pulling for BC, only because CG told me to.

Actually, one game per week is shown on the regional sports network, CSS. As a matter of fact, they're airing the Sask-BC game right now. Sask is leading 14-7 in the 3rd. Other than the Friday night games they showed during the regular season, I doubt any of these games have been shown live. (College football is king here in the South.)

I love the Grey Cup- you never know what's going to happen. The Argos could pull a fast one, but if the grey Cup goes anywhere near Yonge Street I think I'll hurt someone. Not that the center of the universe cares.

Yeah, which is why Im surprised you guys get any CFL at all. CFL has pretty much a cult following, except its big now here in Vancouver without hockey

Not that the center of the universe cares. If the Lions lose, Im glad it will be to the Argo's. That will be the only sports parade that city will see in a long, long time But the Lions will do it

Nothing can compare to college football. Hockey's a passion in Canada, soccer's a passion in Europe, college football is a religion down here.

Cult following? It's huge in the prairies. It's just that the Stamps suck.

The CFL is looking a little dull. Almost every play is a long pass play, and that's not very exciting. It looks like a lot of finesse, and no hard running or grinding. They couldn't compete with an NFL team, that's for sure.

Dont tell me what to do on my forum 4 sacks is not acceptable, nor was the coverage on the Roughriders TD...But like you said, they're playing the Argos, not the Al's And no I wasn't at the game. How was it live MCM? It was incredible. I felt so much pride when the starting lineups were called, 53 thousand people on their feet, cheering, booing the Riders mascot... The atmosphere cannot be described. After years of being a football fan in this city, finally there's a full BC Place stadium. It was incredible...

They couldn't compete with an NFL team, that's for sure. Not at all. I like these high tempo finishes, though. I like long bombs. I'd take high scoring over execution anyday. I think the Grey Cup will be live. 7PM for you. How did you like Chris Berman's highlight package? "You can't win games on a rouge!"

How did you like Chris Berman's highlight package? "You can't win games on a rouge!" That's just it. 3 touchdowns in a game where you're throwing it 30 yards downfield on almost every play? Match them up with an NFL team, and they'll be lucky to get a touchdown. And only 53,000? Colleges easily get 80,000 into their stadiums.

The only tickets that weren't sold at BC Place was the top three rows, about 300 meters away from the field, behind the scoreboard. The capacity is 58 000 seats, granted, but about 5000 of those seats are in places where you can't see half the field. As for the talent pool, I'm sure the Alouettes or Lions could beat the Dolphins or Cardinals, and some good college teams, the Bulldogs or the Longhorns. Here's a little stat. There is a higher percentage of Canadians who watch the Grey Cup than Americans who watch the Superbowl.
