So, is anyone else excited about the fact that the original Star Wars Trilogy is coming out on DVD next month?
I can hardly wait, I've already reserved my copy at Blockbuster.

Hate to be a wet blanket cal, but this reason alone is why I'll probaly end up renting them and not buy them: Die Lucas! Our childhood memories have been raped! I wish Lucas would get his head out of his ass and release the original versions on DVD. Lucas=

You pulled the same stunt on the Flames site as well, you big meanie, but meh, I'm still gonna buy them, cuz these ones will be better than his god damn perfect vision for them that you've brought to my attention before.

Sorry dude, but I just hate him ruining my second favourite movie of all time (ESB) by changing Boba Fett's voice to sound like Jango's, and changing Vader's and the Emperor's conversation about Luke. And do we really need to have all the stormtroppers in ANH sounding like Jango too! These changes are unforgivable. That being said, I understand you excitement, I'm probaly just more of a cynic than you are. I hope you get your money's worth! (And like I said, I'll still rent them. And if he has'nt fucked them up too much, I'll consider buying them)

I guess that it was bound to happen when you film movies out of sequence like he did, none of this would have happened had he have learnt that 1 comes before 4.

I don't mind the way they've come out, but instead of trying to change around the original triologies (which everyone would agree are all time classics) to fit in with the prequel trilogies more, why not try to make the prequels fit in with the originals more. It would make more sense since the originals came out first. There are so many continuity errors nows it laughable

So, I was at Blockbuster yesterday, and they were showing a preview of the Trilogy, and man, the bonus features look fucking cool. They have a part that shows Anakin essentially becoming Vader.

But I've seen the scene your talking about, and it does look good. I'll admit there are a few things to still get excited about ;D
