I've never watched a star wars movie in my life! Don't start either. The new ones are the worst pieces of junk you could watch. And the older ones has been basterdized. Stay away from them altogether ;D

Dino, I have to disagree. The original Star Wars' were some of the best movies I've ever seen. IV, V and VI have the best special effects ever.
DGF, do yourself a favour and watch A New Hope.

The originals. That's the key. Star Wars is great, and Empire is the greatest sequel ever. Only problem is the originals are hard to find now unless you already own them on video. The redone versions are complete crap

Word to the wise everyone, do not get Dino going on what has been done to his beloved Star Wars. He is very touchy about it, almost as if he had made them himself.

That's true. The redone versions don't have the same old school feel... It's not that the new ones are bad, they don't have the same 70's B-movie feel about them. They are all crisp and clean looking now. At least that's what I'm noticing.

BTW, last night I watched Shallow Hal. It wasn't quite as funny as I remembered.

The added scenes such as Jabba and Han, and Greedo shooting first also take something away. At least to those of us who've grown up on the originals. BTW, Shallow Hal isn't that funny. Neither is School of Rock. I hate it when Jack Black in called the new John Belushi. He's nowhere near as funny

I just can't get over how much the scene of Han and Jabba doesn't fit in. It's just not right at all, especially the stepping on the tail. *shudder*
I just can't believe that I actually found it funny at all, I can't stand Jack Black at all anymore, and I hope he finds a nice hole to crawl into.

The Rock is underrated as an actor. He's better than Arnold ever was. Certainly miles ahead of his contemporary rival for best action star status: Vin Diesel
