I don't care if people choose to imbibe. Just don't expect the government and my tax dollars to help you out when you start living the consequences of a decision you made.

Atl, I am a conservative, I believe that we need to make the right choices in life, but for some people who made the wrong decision, we should cut them some slack. I am not communist for thinking this. I am in favour of privatization. I am in favour of low taxes. I am in favour of NAFTA. After you said this, it makes me wonder... are you really a moderate when you said you were one? Thanks for voting Bush, though. I like having NAFTA to boost our economy, and the American dollar is dropping steadily, making our dollar better by comparison. |

MCM has just demonstrated that he knows dick all about economics, ladies and gentlemen.
MCM, our largest export partner is the US, due to NAFTA.
It is less desirable for them to buy our products while the US dollar is faring poorly, especially if the loonie is gaining on it.
Not to mention the number it does on our tourism industry.
