Ever have deja vu linked to dreams? You dream about something and it happens later in the month or so. Or ever dream about falling and waking up just before you hit the ground and it feels as if you've fallen into your bed?
I've been studying my dreams recently, and I have some weird things to say about it...
My conclusion is that your subconscious recongnizes your personality so well it can predict what you can do. If there are other people you know well enough, it happens to them as well.
When you have these dreams, notice that it only is about people who your subconcious can recongnize the personality for. 90% of your mind is working to predict what will happen to you.
For the falling dream that everybody has, my conclusion is that the 90% of your brain that we don't know what happens is actually concentrating so hard on the fact that you're falling that you'd actually be levitating an inch or so above your bed.
When you're about to hit the ground in your dream, your subconcious panics and immediately wakes you up, therefore your mind loses control of your levitation and you 'land' on your bed.
The reason why you can never prove this is because you can't watch it happen. When there are different mind vibrations in the general vincity at the same time the mind over matter waves become unfocused and it won't work.
This happened to me 7 times last night, and that's the reason why I picked up on the theory. I woke up so drained in the brain I could hardly walk, meaning my brain had been 'overworked' from all the levitation I had done therefore it would take a while to rest.
If anybody has any weird dream related things that have happened I'd take the time to experiment with them.

I think you're crazy. If we actually levitated in some dreams, I'm sure some scientists would have videotaped it by now. How can you explain levitation to even be possible?
What happens to me, and maybe you in your falling dreams, is that the instant you wake up your entire body shakes (I've kicked the wall so many times). In your case you might mistake the shake, thinking that you just fell a few inches into your bed.

Like I said, it can't be videotaped or watched, because other air waves from a camera or somebody watching would mean that there would be an inbalenced frequency of air waves, meaning that it won't work.
Why else would the bed shake, Fonzie?

MCM, there are sleep clinics that monitor this kind of thing. If a person keeps dreaming that they're falling, it usually means they have lost control over something in their conscious world and are desperate to regain control, or a grip, over it.
It has nothing to do with levitation...;D

Why else would the bed shake, Fonzie? The bed isn't shaking, MCM, you are.

I've heard my springs squeaking after I 'fall'
Just the fact that I woke up after it happened 7 times in a night with severe headrush, unable to think, makes me think my brain had been overworked.
I'm not saying levitating way over. Just an inch above.
If you had gone through what I had gone through the night I did it 7 times, you'd be convinced of this too.

MCM, your theory sounds quite interesting and I have experienced deja vu countless times but most of them have been related to simple ordinary occurences. I've also dreamed of falling many times, but I don't believe that we 'levitate' at all doing that. As far as I can remember, when I feel like I'm actually about to hit the ground, I've just moved my arms or legs, which have been just reflex actions.

Dream related deja vu are only linked to normal everyday occurences.
As an example, I once dreamed I was getting a hot dog ready at 7-11, and the mustard didn't work so I put salsa on instead.
About a month later, the exact scenario happened.
What happened was my subconcious knew my like for mustard and salsa, but that I never like the two together. When I last put mustard on my hot dog, it was able to predict when I'd go to the 7-11 and when the mustard supply would deplete.
Maybe the bed thing is different for different people but I still hold strong in the levitation theory. Notice that it only happens when you're the only one in the room, meaning that other brainwaves wouldn't interfere with it.
Come on, my g/f accepted this theory. WHY DOESN'T ANYBODY ELSE? ? ? ? ? ? ?

Why else would the bed shake, Fonzie? Since when do cameras send out air waves and frequencies. Stop speaking of this mumbo jumbo. The bed shakes because your body shakes. Trust me. School is for fools....look at me!!!!!
