Might switch to italian if it gets to hard, my sis in law speaks Italian fluently and Im always over visitin her so I was thinking of that route, tho, I figued spanish would be more common place (and screw the french...) ANY tips on learning a second language on your own would be appreciated, regardless of the language you learned...

Well, I know 4 languages: French, English, Spanish, and Italian. The French I took in school, Spanish I'm taking right now in school, and Italian from just askin my dad and websites. If you wanna learn Spanish, try and pick up Realidades, if it's available. It's a textbook and really goes in-depth with it. I know the website to get the online book, but I'd have to give you my password and username, and I don't really want to.

Holy crap When your thinkgin, do you ever get confused cause u switch to another language? Not really. Chowjanese, Mandarin, and Cantonese are basically different dialects of Chinese, it's just that Mandarin and Cantonese are frequently used, so people assume it's two different languages. Come to think of it, there are TONS of different dialects of Chinese. 'Sides, I speak English the most, Chowjanese second, Cantonese third, Mandarin fourth, and French fifth. My parents talk in Vietnamese a lot so I understand what they say but I can't speak it. I sound funny when I try.
